ArmCoil offers a wide variety of transformers and miniature substations focused on reliability, high quality and performance. Included in the range are high efficiency transformers which have many advantages over conventional transformers, such as lower energy consumption and fewer losses, reducing consumption.
When it comes to selecting the right transformer there are many factors to consider. Cooling is an important factor. It can have an important impact on performance and efficacy.
On 20 October ArmCoil presented a technical webinar to discuss the difference in the performance factor between a dry and an oil cooled transformer and the impact it has on the loss factor. Peter Flint, ArmCoil’s managing director has many years of experience in the transformer field and led the discussion and focused on the many aspects of efficient operation and low maintenance. The presentation was followed by an open technical discussion.
