The CSIR will host a webinar on Wednesday 7 July 2021 from 12:00 – 15:00 on the role of intellectual property (IP), and how small and medium enterprises can take innovations to market.
The event is part of the CSIR’s 75-year celebrations and is aimed at raising awareness around the value of IP, explore avenues to exploit IP, and share valuable lessons, experiences and successes.
The webinar will bring together a multitude of stakeholders to celebrate inspired innovations and encourage ongoing innovation that responds to industry needs. The programme will include sessions focusing on closing the gap between research and the market, converting IP into commercial enterprises and understanding the legal and regulatory environment for effective IP exploitation.
