The Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) offers informative sessions that aim to assist prospective registrants understand and navigate their way in successfully achieving ECSA registration and recognition.

These registration workshops serve to share information on the Registration process thoroughly from Candidacy to Professional. These presentations are given to Learning Institutions, Government Institutions/Organisations as well Engineering Companies and are a part of ECSA’s key aim to disseminate engineering registration information.

Peer Recognition of Qualifications and Experience

Being recognized by ECSA ensures that the minimum requirements expected of a Professional in the engineering profession are met

International Recognition

ECSA is a co-signatory of the Washington, Sydney and Dublin Accords where the registering bodies in various participating countries recognize each other’s accredited tertiary qualifications in engineering. This confirms that South Africa’s academic qualifications are internationally recognised, allowing professionally registered members to work internationally.
