As the newly appointed editor of EngineerIT, I and the the Estates in Africa team take the helm of a trusted resource for the engineering and technology community. The legacy established by the Now Media team, including Hans van de Groenendaal, Anton Marsh and the many contributors who have shaped EngineerIT into the publication it is today, is a proud standard I hope to maintain. I am particularly pleased that Hans will remain on the Editorial Board and continue to share his invaluable insights and contributions with our readers.
Under the stewardship of Estates in Africa, EngineerIT is entering an exciting new chapter. While we embrace fresh perspectives and new opportunities, our commitment to providing in-depth coverage of technology, engineering and ICT trends will not change. Whether you are a reader, advertiser or contributor, your role in our community is vital, and I am eager to engage with each of you as we move forward together.
Looking ahead, I am enthusiastic about establishing stronger connections within the engineering and technology sectors, exploring emerging innovations and ensuring EngineerIT continues to be a platform that informs, inspires and elevates the industries we serve. I am deeply committed to continuing the magazine's legacy of quality journalism delving into the vibrant businesses of science, engineering and information technologies.
I bring experience writing and editing for diverse industries across the technology, telecommunications, mining, media, marketing, public relations, finance and advertising industries, and I look forward to immersing myself in the intriguing possibilities emerging in engineering and IT during this era of flux, disruption and innovation.
Thank you for your continued support of EngineerIT. I look forward to sharing this journey with you and welcome any feedback or ideas you may have as we shape the future of this publication together.
